Check out Carowinds, the theme park that straddles NC and SC. It’s not the best park in the country but it has a lot to offer.

There aren’t too many roller coasters in Kansas. But there are a ton of these little regional aquatic parks. See if there is one near you!
Check out the roller coasters in Iowa! There’s one big theme park, one big water park, and a neat new park on the way in 2022.
Take a look at all the roller coasters in Indiana! Mostly, these are found in Holiday World, which also has some amazing water coasters.
Take a look at roller coasters in Illinois – almost all in Six Flags Great America! There are lots of water parks too, mostly around Chicago.
There’s not a huge scene for roller coasters in Idaho, but there is Silverwood Theme Park, a mountain coaster, and two big water parks!
Sadly, there aren’t any roller coasters in
Hawaii. BUT there is one big water park, Wet ‘n’ Wild in Honolulu!
The roller coasters in Georgia are centered mainly in Atlanta at Six Flags. Atlanta also has the biggest water park, White Water!
