There aren’t too many Roller Coasters in Washington (and the biggest park isn’t that great) but there are a few, and some water parks!
Check out my visit to Valleyfair, a smaller Cedar Fair park near Minneapolis. I wasn’t too impressed, but they have some good rides!
There are some beautiful parks and roller coasters in Virginia, though many not as many water parks as you might think!
I was really wowed by Silverwood Theme Park, not so much by the rides, but by the friendly and unhurried atmosphere of this lovely independent park.
There aren’t very many roller coasters in Vermont, but there are two mountain coasters, and two-ish water parks!
Let’s rank all the rides at Lagoon Amusement Park! They charge a lot, but they have at least a three great rides and a huge park-like space.
Most of the Roller coasters in Utah are at Lagoon in Salt Lake City, or pretty nearby. We’ve got a couple mountain coasters and three water parks too.
The Golden Spike National Historic Park is a small park (with a big fee) out in the Utah wilderness, commemorating the final spike of the transcontinental railroad.
